At SPRA, we help pet owners register their pets without the hassle. We know how important it is to keep your pets safe and accounted for, so we’ve made the registration process simple. Our team is dedicated to great service and keeping your pet’s information current.

Our aim is to offer an affordable and trustworthy way for you to register your dog. Plus, we keep all your breeding records up to date, which our customers find really valuable.

 

OUR HISTORY

It all started in 2000. Lorna Blaylock, the founder, was one of many dog breeders trying to find reliable record-keeping services. The choices were limited: pay big companies a lot or try to manage it all yourself.

Lorna started keeping digital records of her dogs’ bloodlines and breeding programs, along with paper files. Realizing she was good at organizing records, files, and data in general, she offered to help her sister-in-law, Rosa—her first client, even if it was free. She decided to offer her services professionally.

By 2008, Lorna was helping 20+ family and friends from her dog community, and as her small business grew, so did her business idea. In 2014, she officially launched Secure Pet Registry of America with over 100 members. SPRA has been providing registry and record-keeping services for pet owners and breeders ever since.
